Transport authority

Bentheimer Eisenbahn operates under the umbrella of the public transport authority LNVG (Landesnahverkehrsgesellschaft Niedersachsen mbH).
As a 100% subsidiary of the state Lower Saxony, the LNVG ensures a demand-oriented local transport offer with trains and buses in its area and sets itself the goal of sustainably improving mobility. LNVG distributes regionalization funds for the whole of Lower Saxony and reviews and approves applications for funding.
